So I might be losing my mind. I'm trying to write a 15-page paper, due at midnight on Monday and I'm having the worst writer's block/procrastination I've ever had. I've got most of the information and a working thesis, and I just need to write it. But it took me two days to sit down at the computer. Though I now have close to 1.5 pages down, it took me a good 17 hours to get that far.

When I was in college as an English major, I had to write papers all the time. And I could turn them out in a single night if I needed to. One way I used to get motivation was watch relevant West Wing clips. This paper is on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), disability discrimination, providing access to individuals with disabilities, etc.

I tried to come up with relevant TWW clips but am drawing a blank. Any suggestions? Preferably either from the first four seasons or whatever is YouTube. I don't have the final three season...

Hey, all you icon-makers. I am looking to make picture collages of family photos for the holidays on my computer (Mac or PC). Do you know any programs I can download for free that are easy to use where I can maybe combine a couple photos and maybe text and a little background colour? Thanks.

Was discussing Obama's hands-off approach and it's role in causing the current healthcare bill debacle today, and how if he wanted to stay above the fray he should at least unleash Rahm Emanuel to start kicking heads.

I was reminded of that bit in "Five Votes Down" where Josh is slapping around Congressman Katzenmoyer and says "President Bartlet's a good man. He's got a good heart. He doesn't hold a grudge. That's what he pays me for."
